The Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism supports and facilitates community developed service and volunteer activities through AmeriCorps programs in order to improve the quality of life for Georgians. Georgia’s AmeriCorps program creates partnerships and opportunities to participate in service programs in education, the environment, public safety, human needs, and homeland security.
